Project portfolio week (1/26-2/1)

Me and my partner Oliver Romero are working on our portfolio project, and we needed to research various credit sequences from different films, so I researched credit sequences from Endgame,

Endgame uses this credit sequence called cold open, which does not directly introduce the credits ,but instead after some of  the story is played out. In endgame film opening starts with the opening scene, then moving on to where the title and and the marvel logo show up. This is great because it introduces the opening without background text, however I personally dont believe me and Oliver would use this as we need to cite who helped us, direct, edit etc... From my example endgame, I wouldn't know how to properly integrate the credits of the people involved in this project as endgame doesn't do so, and to  me personally I dont think it would fit our film opening. Maybe if I were to do more research and change my mind, I could use this opening.

Die hard uses a credit sequence named integrated credits. Integrated credits is a sequence where the credits appear, while the story is ongoing. We see this when credits like crew names are presented over the opening scenes when McLane starts the film in LA. Me and Oliver could definitely use this, we would be able to accomplish our goal of showing both our scene and the credits. We will just have to make sure that our credits dont take emphasis off the actual scene.

Top gun uses this credit sequence called rolling credits. Rolling credits are credits which roll either up or down or left to right. Top gun uses these, we know this as in  the opening the credits roll vertically, while the film is playing. Me and Oliver will not be using this as we dont think it will work well with out film opening.
